Unlike Amazon, Ebay and Etsy's pre-colored plastic trim, our trim is ABS raw plastic which goes through a multi-step process that includes prep, sanding, adhesion promotor, 2 coats of automotive primer, 2 coats of genuine OEM paint, and 2 coats of automotive clear with a final buff and polish.

Additionally pre-colored plastic trim fades quickly and doesn't have the depth in color or sheen that you can get with paint. Competitor trim is only available in generic colors ie red, yellow, blue, etc. and each company may have a different shade to their color so getting matching pieces is nearly impossible.

Our trim is glossy (or matte), can be metallic or pearl and is available in over 50 OEM shades which means the EXACT COLOR MATCH you want for EVERY PIECE, EVERY TIME.

While buying some paint and spraying it on your own pieces might seem easier and more affordable, we've learned from having done it ourselves that rattle can or spray paint doesn't give you the same color and sheen and you can't get a high enough quality clear in a can to have the trim come out looking good or lasting long. No. Our trim is a lightweight overlay that adheres to your existing trim. It in no way impedes the original trim's features or functions including it's ability to break away such as for airbag deployment.

When properly applied, according to our recommendations, our trim will stay on until you want it off. It comes with pre-applied 3M double sided adhesive tape. We've put it to the test ourselves in many conditions including pressure washing, highway speeds, off-roading, and even a hurricane!

No. With the exception of one or two items we carry, all of our trim is applied, not installed. You leave your Jeep just as it is, and apply our trim over top of your existing trim. It can be removed anytime you want and will not harm your original trim. In fact you may find that it preserves it so well that the areas you had covered will look better than your exposed existing trim!

We currently specialize in Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator trim, but we are working on adding other Jeep models in the future. Our next collection will be for Jeep Renegade, and is coming soon! 

Yes. If we do not have a particular piece you're looking for, or a piece that fits, we'll work with you to evaluate options. We'll try to source the piece you need, or you can provide it and we will paint it for you for a custom paint fee. The fee will vary depending on the item and its complexity or size. We reserve the right to decline painting outside parts.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Returns, exchanges and cancellations may be accepted  for non custom and non personalized orders. Due to the custom nature of our products, cancellations must occur within 24 hours of your original order.  Standard turn around time is 21 days for custom painted items. If your order will be delayed longer than 21 days, you will receive an update from us with an updated timeframe.

Color My Jeep is not responsible for delayed orders that are the result of distributor shipping or back ordered items. We will do our best to notify you of any delays encountered and keep you apprised of expected completion and shipping time.  Once an item is received, you will have 14 days in which to notify us of any issues and request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be non custom, in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at colormyjeep@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll notify you as to how/where to return the item. Buyers are responsible for return shipping. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note, a wrong item does not include items mistakenly purchased for an incorrect vehicle model or wrong color choice. 

Returns will only be eligible for unused items with defects in materials or workmanship. If an item is purchased for an incorrect vehicle, it will be exchanged for the correct vehicle provided it is available. If it is not available a credit will be issued towards the purchase of another item or for a gift card.

Color My Jeep, LLC is not responsible for improper installation resulting in an unusable trim piece(s). See application instructions for details on proper installation.  

 Exceptions / non-returnable items

Custom and personalized items cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. We want to provide you with an exceptional experience!

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a return for the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Please note, we will only provide store credit or a gift card unless an order is delayed beyond reasonable expectations or a suitable replacement part is not available. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method otherwise, you will received a store credit or gift card. 

Shipping

Items from this shop are custom painted when ordered. Stock is dependent on part availability and paint time. Due to the current distribution and shipping delays, some products or product sets may have back ordered or unavailable items.  You will be notified upon receipt of your order if any or all of a product is back ordered.

Items ship a minimum of 21 days from the date the order is placed, depending on color and part availability. Please allow at least 21 days from the date the order was placed to inquire about status of your order with the exception of questions regarding color, fit, etc.  Approximate ship times are provided but may vary, especially during the current supply chain and shipping environment and during holidays, see individual products for details.

Shipping is available to the United States 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 from Murrells Inlet SC and will occur via USPS or UPS unless otherwise stated. Please note that choosing expedited shipping only speeds up shipping time. It does not speed up painting time. Orders are processed in the order they are received. If you would like your order processing expedited, it can be done for an additional fee.
